Affordable websites for small business · St. Petersburg, FL

A website that works
as hard as you do.

Built for small business. Priced like it, too.

You've got the skill. You've got the customers who love you. What you don't have is two months and four thousand dollars for an agency — and you shouldn't need them. I build simple, beautiful, mobile-friendly websites for small businesses across Tampa Bay, starting at $250, with the honest ongoing support that agencies rarely give you — and you own every bit of it, always.

What I do

Three things, done beautifully

No bloat, no packages you'll never use. The things a small business actually needs to get found, look legit, and win back its week.

Get found

A mobile-friendly site with real local SEO, built around what your customers actually search — right down to the neighborhood.

Look legit

Clean, fast, and gorgeous on every screen. The kind of site that earns trust before the phone ever rings.

Save time

Simple custom tools — quote forms, calculators, trackers — that fix the broken process eating your afternoons.

My story

I'm not an agency.
I'm the person who got burned by one — and built something better.

I paid thousands. I waited months. I got almost nothing back. So I taught myself to do it right.

By day, I manage operations for a countertop fabrication company here in the Tampa Bay area — the systems, the scheduling, the hundred small things that keep a small business running. I've always loved that part of the job: building order out of chaos.

We walked into a business with no systems. No process, no procedures, and a website that was frankly boring — it left a lot to be desired.

So we did the sensible thing and hired an agency. Thousands of dollars. Months of my time and energy. Endless frustration, and very little to show for it. I was fortunate enough to get every dollar back — a lot of people don't.

Then I got stubborn. I spent months researching, learning, failing, and trying again. Slowly at first. And a few months in, something clicked: I figured out how to use AI as an actual tool. Not a gimmick — a tool.

I'm entirely self-taught. No training, no degree, no background in any of this. I built our stone company's website. Then our construction company's. Then the systems that hold both of them together.

Then came Jim.

Jim is a cabinetmaker we work with. In our business, we install countertops — so we almost never get to see the finished room. One day he sent over a batch of professional photos of his work — and ours, together in the finished rooms — and I was floored. The craftsmanship was absolutely beautiful. I wanted to see more, so I went straight to his website.

It hadn't been updated since 1998.

So I built him a new one. Didn't ask, didn't pitch — just built it. Next time I saw him I said, "Hey, I made you a website." He said, "What? That's awesome." He introduced me to his daughter Melissa, who helps him run the business side of things, and I sat down with her and walked her through exactly how I build these things.

And somewhere in the middle of that meeting it hit me: I love this. This is fun. I want to do this for more people.

I still keep my day job — this is a labor of love, not a volume business. That means every client gets an honest answer, a fair price, and a real person who picks up the phone. My goal isn't to impress you with jargon. It's to make you feel supported, not overwhelmed.

Welcome to Stillhouse Studio. We're happy to have you here.

I don't want to build you a website.
I want to get your work in front of people.

"Be still, and know that I am God."
Psalm 46:10

That verse is where the name comes from. Stillhouse — a place to be still, get your head above water, and let somebody else carry a piece of it for a while. Running a small business is loud. My job is to take one loud thing off your plate and hand it back quiet, finished, and done well.

Why Stillhouse Studio

Three reasons small businesses stick with me

No fine print, no jargon, no surprise invoices. Just a straightforward way to get online and stay there.

Honest advice

If an agency is really what you need, I'll tell you that instead of taking your money. If a simple site is enough, I won't upsell you into more than you need.

Simple solutions

No bloated platforms or ten-tool stacks. Just a clean, fast website and the handful of tools that actually save your business time.

You own everything

Your domain, your website, your hosting, your accounts — always registered in your name. No lock-in, no hidden ownership, no leverage over you.

Being straight with you

If you want something big and fancy, hire an agency. That's okay.

Some businesses genuinely need that, and I'd rather tell you the truth than take your money. But if you're a small business just trying to have a real presence online — a site that looks good, works on a phone, and helps people find you — that's exactly what I'm here for. I'd rather do a little good work honestly than a lot of it any other way.

No surprises

Here's exactly where your money goes

Most web people quote you one number and then the bills start showing up. I'd rather show you the whole thing now.

Paid to me Paid by you, directly
Website buildUp to 5 hours of my time, one revision round $250 once
Website platformYour account, your card. I never touch it. ~$25 / mo

Anything extraOnly after I tell you the cost and you say yes $25 / hr

That's the whole list. No setup fees, no markup on your platform, no contract you can't walk away from. If your site needs something I haven't mentioned, you'll hear the number before I do the work — not after.

Straightforward pricing

No surprises, no retainers you can't leave

You pay for my time. Your platform and domain are billed to you directly — about $25/month and $15–25/year — so you always own your own accounts.
